Today the team on Sunday Arts Magazine chat to special guest, Hugh Hayden, about his artwork.
Born in New York. Hugh’s desire has always been art. He studied architecture, as the private schools he attended did not encourage studying art. He holds a Master of Fine Art from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University. Wood and branches are Hugh’s main medium. Through his sculptures, Hugh examines how human interactions with the natural environment are intimately connected.
Hugh is displaying two inspiring installations in the triennial currently running at the NGV.
