Tonight our fabulous hosts, Paul and Little Jase, welcome special guest, the wonderful Candice Cody, to The I in Us. Candice was born and raised in Kilkenny County, Ireland.

Additionally, she had cognitive challenges as well. She completed an apprenticeship before visiting a friend in Australia and eventually finding love and settling down in New South Wales. She has been a long-term intersex advocate and a past director of Intersex Human Rights Australia.

Like many XXY people, Candice was diagnosed as Intersex XXY late in life at the age of forty. Learn about another condition she has and how she found out about it. Listen to Candice as she explains the challenges, both mental and physical, she faced during a turbulent journey to the person she is today. Hear how her diagnosis came about and the myriad of different health professionals she had consulted along the way.
