Tonight marks an exceptional milestone for a relatively new program, The I in Us. Our sensational hosts, Paul and Little Jase, welcome their first international guests, Jelly O’Shea and AJ Dea from Aotearoa (New Zealand).

Hear all about Jelly’s and AJ’s incredible involvement with the Intersex community. Jelly is an intersex advocate and activist. In their spare time, Jelly enjoys making jewelry and spending time absorbing the sincere beauty of nature. AJ has an incredible five years experience as an Intersex advocate. They are a passionate museum host and plans to soon become a tour guide at the Museum of Wellington. AJ enjoys painting, science fiction and natural history as their spare time activities.

Not surprisingly, Jelly and AJ met through their joint passion for engaging in their local Intersex community. Together they provide support to Intersex youth and others, in collaboration with with Intersex New Zealand. A significant supporting project, “Insights,” is a four part video series made by, and for, Intersex Rangatahi (“Maori for young persons”) This informative series explores puberty, relationships, sexual health, consent and more.
