Berry Street comes out & GLBTI adoption law in Victoria

On tonight’s program, we chatted to Meaghan Holden, Regional Director, South Eastern from Berry Street about the organisation’s recent statement in support of Marriage Equality and what that means. (they have written to every Federal MP). Their statement is here

Also, in Victoria the Adoption Amendment (Adoption by Same-Sex Couples) Act 2015 came into force today (September 1). What does this mean for GLBTI families. Rainbow Families released a statement, viewable here. We caught up with Gay Dads Australia‘s Co-Convenor, Rodney Chiang-Cruise to explore the issue further.
