+ or -, move forward while remembering the past at the International AIDS Candlelight Memorial this weekend

The International AIDS Candlelight Memorial reminds us of the tremendous impact that HIV and the AIDS movement have had on our lives. Emphasizing the need for people living with and affected by HIV to join hands and reflect on the past and the precious lives that have been lost.

The 35th International AIDS Candlelight Memorials are taking place this Sunday, May 20th around Australia and the world, and Dean Arcuri spoke to Max Niggl, Living Positive Victoria’s Speakers Buerea Coordinator, about the importance of looking to the future but still remembering the past at this year’s Candlelight Memorial.

You can find details about AIDS Candlelight Memorials in your state this Sunday at www.candlelightmemorial.org

This segment of The Informer aired on JOY 94.9 on 14th May 2018.
