Harvey Milk’s Nephew and Christmas with Yvonne Gardner

History, Society & Culture

Harvey Milk’s Nephew and Christmas with Yvonne Gardner
stuart-milk-barack-obamaHarvey Milk was one of the first openly gay politicians voted into public office in the US, and his assassination in 1978 was the subject of an award-winning Hollywood film.
Stuart Milk is his nephew and carries on his legacy. Like his uncle, Stuart is an internationally prominent campaigner of LGBT rights and equality.
Stuart was the guest of honour in the UK at the launch of LGBT History Month at the House of Commons, where he was joined by MPs on both sides of British Parliament.
Stuart met with The Informer’s UK Correspondent  Dan Vo to discuss the 2017 programme, which will coincide with the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalization of homosexuality in England and Wales.
PLUS:
It wouldn’t be Christmas without Yvonne Gardner’s Christmas Day Lunch. If you cannot make lunch on Christmas Day, how about lending a hand on Christmas Eve to help Yvonne set up?
Everyone is invited but you do have to RSVP by the 22nd of December. Phone Yvonne on 03 9471 0033
