A Very Musical Man

This week Gillian duets with co-host Will Conyer, Director, Dancer, Singer, Voice Coach and Star of many musicals. Will began his career studying classical music at the Conservatorium but his career trajectory changed following a Village people gig which ultimately led to his first  job – dancing at the Lido in Paris. Will shares with Gillian some of his memories from the 1980’s; how many times he has jumped out of aeroplanes and why his happy place is the St Kilda Cemetery.

After a slight technical hitch Will and Gillian sing beak to beak with Will providing a beautiful rendition of the Steven Sondheim classic I’m Still Here and Gillian sings one of her own she prepared earlier.  The songs Will can’t resist dancing to include anything by the Village People, I am What I Am (Gloria Gaynor) and Electric Dreams by Human League.
