Transgender Warriors: Brooke Murray and Miss Katalyna

On tonight’s show we interview Brooke Murray and Miss Katalyna from No Return: Tales from Melbourne’s Trans Community featuring four trans performers including Miss Katalyna, Darby Turnbull, Lore Burns and Oliver Ayres.

Miss Katalyna is a proud Transgender Woman of colour, social media trans activist, youtuber, Plus Size Model and passionate about Diversity and Inclusion in Australia.

Brooke Murray is the founder of Small Wonder Arts, which makes joyful and heartbreaking theatre that places trans and gender diverse people centre stage.

We chat about the importance of the trans performers and directors of telling their own stories, theatre for young people, the perils of curly-haired folk trying to get haircut and the politics of hair in general!
