Say You Will by Blanket of Secrecy. 3rd single from their 1982 album, their only one, Walls Have Ears. Short-lived British band that, true to their name, didn’t release the names of the band members till decades later.
+100,000 Fireflies by The Magnetic Fields. Debut single from 1991 this American Indie band made up of one gay male artist (Stephin Merritt), one lesbian (Claudia Gonson), one straight female (Susan Amway, who is no longer with the group), and two straight males (Sam Davol and John Woo).
+A different Corner by Wham!. 1986 single from The Final, the band’s third and final album. It is slightly different from the third and final album they released in the US & Japan, Music from the Edge of Heaven. The track lists differ a bit and this song is re-mastered…not sure what the US version sounds like!
+I don’t wanna be your Boyfriend by Dead or Alive. 1989. Pete Burns, who died last year.
DPO system for some reason played part of a track by 4 Non-Blondes…

*Into Temptation by Crowded House. 1988
*People by Mi-Sex. Released in March 1980 as the lead single from their second studio album, Space Race (1980). The song peaked at number 3 in New Zealand and 6 in Australia.

*Counting the Beat by The Swingers. The 1981 1-hit-wonder from Kiwi band. The band featured Split Enz member, Phil Judd, and actually had a number of hits in New Zealand. Sadly they never broke through again here, despite being signed by Mushroom Records and, as with so many Kiwis, having moved here permanently.
