867-5309 Jenny by Tommy Tutone. Written by Alex Call and Jim Keller and performed by Tommy Tutone that was released on the album Tommy Tutone 2 in 1982. There seems to be some disagreement about whether a real Jenny existed – Tommy Heath (Tutone) claimed yes, Alex Call the song’s writer says no.

Two Hearts on the Loose by Randy Bishop and the Underdogs. (on 5) I know Bishop is now a producer in Nashville working under the name Rand but can’t find much else about him or this band. Anybody know??? 1986 song.

9 to 5 by Dolly Parton. From the 1980 film starring starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, and Dolly Parton. The song, written by Parton, garnered her an Academy Award nomination and four Grammy Award nominations, winning her the awards for “Best Country Song” and “Best Country Vocal Performance, Female”. In addition to appearing on the film soundtrack, the song was the centerpiece of Parton’s 9 to 5 and Odd Jobs album, released in late 1980.

*Man With Two Hearts by Men at Work. First track on their 1985 album, which was their third and last album. Written by lead singer Colin Hay.

*Two Hearts by Australian Crawl. Their final single, 1986.

*Two Strong Hearts by John Farnham. From his 1988 album Age of Reason, which debuted at number one here in Australia in July of that year.

*Two’s Up by Ac/Dc. From their 11th studio album, Blow Up Your Video, released in 1988.

*Orbit Zero by Little River Band. From Time Exposure, their sixth studio album. It was recorded with producer George Martin at Associated Independent Recording (AIR) in Montserrat and released in August 1981.

Two divided by Zero by Pet Shop Boys. From Please, the first album by English electronic music group Pet Shop Boys, released in 1986. According to the duo, the album’s title was chosen so that people had to go into a record shop and say “Can I have the Pet Shop Boys album, ‘Please’?”

Five Sticks by Camper Van Beethoven. From their 3rd studio album, a self-titled affair, released in 1986.

2 out of 3 ain’t Bad by Meatloaf. 1977 album Bat out of Hell, written by Jim Steinman. It was the final song written for the album.

2-4-6-8 Motorway by The Tom Robinson Band. British muso Robinson wrote the song between leaving Café Society in 1976, and forming the Tom Robinson Band in 1977, which they recorded it in their first year together. U2 also covered it in their early days…
