Hallelujah by Happy Mondays. Title track from their 1989 EP, their third. They’d also released 2 LPs by then as well.
I Melt With You by Modern English. Single from the 1982 album After the Snow. The song gained popularity due to its airplay on MTV in early 1983 and its inclusion during the closing credits in the movie Valley Girl. The band re-recorded it in 1990 for their album Pillow Lips and I think this is the newer version.
Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless) by Crystal Waters. Her 1991 debut single release, which was re-released in 1993 as well. One of her 2 best known songs, the other being 100% Pure Love.
Higher Ground by Red Hot Chili Peppers. 1989 single from Mother’s Milk, their fourth studio album.
Waterfront by Simple Minds. From Glittering Prize, a compilation album released in1992.
