I know there’s something Going On by Frida. Produced by Phil Collins, who also played drums on the song and sung backup, along with Frida. This single sold 3.5 million copies worldwide & did far better than the last ABBA singles recorded & released in 1982. The album Something’s Going On is also the best-selling solo project of any of the former ABBA members to date.
Girls Like Me by Bonnie Hayes. First track on her 1982 debut, Good Clean Fun. She’s a Californian and sounds sort of Go-Gos esque. She is also the sister of Chris Hayes, former lead guitarist of Huey Lewis and the News, and Kevin Hayes, drummer with the Robert Cray Band.
Touch Me by Samantha Fox. In 1986 Fox launched her pop music career with this debut single “Touch Me (I Want Your Body)”, which became a Number 1 hit in 17 countries. Prior to this she was a model and pin up girl in the UK. And she’s now a lesbian…
Just a Dream by Nena. Her 10th single release, but just the second in English after 99 Red Balloons. This was from 1984.

*We Will Together by Eurogliders. From 1985’s album Absolutely. Perth band fronted by Grace Knight and Bernie Lynch, who married briefly during the band’s hey day in mid-80s.
*Bop Girl by Pat Wilson. Patricia Mary Higgins is an Australian singer and journalist who wrote for Go-Set, a 1960s and 1970s pop music newspaper, under the pen-name “Mummy Cool” during 1971–1972. Usually regarded as a one hit wonder for this track, written by her then husband Ross Wilson of the bands Daddy Cool and Mondo Rock, to satirise 1980s fashion and pop music.
*Where the Wild Roses Grow by Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds & Kylie Minogue. 1995 single recorded when the two were dating. It appears on the Bad Seeds’ ninth studio album, Murder Ballads (1996).
*Pleasure and Pain by The Divinyls. From What a Life! their second studio album, released in July 1985. Chrissy Amphlett & lead guitarist Mark McEntee were together from 1982-93, some of the band’s peak years.
*Took the Children Away by Ruby Hunter & Archie Roach. The two of them performed together from the late 1980s until her death in 2010. They even did an album in1989 but I can’t for the life of my find a track listing for it.
*Why Tell Me? by The Angie Pepper Band. (on 1). Featuring Angie and her husband Deniz Tek, guitarist and co-founder of the punk band Radio Birdman. They only put out a 7” single in 1984, with this as the b-side, and then much later some of their early recordings were compiled into a couple of CDs.
