Candy Bowers and The Art of Decolonisation

Candy Bowers is a South African woman born on Wurundjeri Country and is presenting a workshop on The Art of Decolonisation as part of the Melbourne Fringe. Candy presents the workshop along with the cast of The Fall – the story of the #RhodesMustFall movement that sought to bring down the statue of colonialist Cecil Rhodes, in protest of the white, Euro-centric cultural experience which dominated South African student life.
The entire program consists of the feature (The Fall), a Q&A after the show on Wednesday night, a listening event (Decolonising Stories) and the workshop (The Art of Decolonisation)
Music by Jessica Mauboy, Viola, Juice and Mojo Juju feature in this podcast.
