Holding the Man: Edwina Wright & Judy Frecker

Jessie, Jack and Anthony are on the airwaves this week, bringing you two special guests to celebrate the much-awaited upcoming release of the film Holding The Man. 

Prof. Edwina Wright, who was a young infectious diseases doctor at Fairfield Hospital during the early days of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, takes us through her experience back then and also talks of consulting on the film’s production.

HIV Clinical Nurse Consultant Judy Frecker is in the studio to speak about her experience as a young nurse back in 1983, caring for Tim & John who are the main characters in the story.
