Drink Limits

Drink Limits is a free six-week therapeutic group looking at alcohol and anxiety for lesbian, bisexual and queer women (cis and trans) and anyone female identifying.

We speak with Awomda Codd from the Therapeutic Services team at Thorne Harbour Health about the program.

The closed group helps participants learn relapse prevention strategies and supports to enable their recovery process.

You can find more info about Drink Limits on the Thorne Harbour Health webpage.

If you’re part of our LGBTIQ communities and were born overseas, check out Thorne Harbour’s Multicultural Community Sexual Health Survey!

Check out our other JOY Podcasts for more on LGBTIQ health & wellbeing.

If there’s something you’d like us to explore on the show, send through ideas or questions at wellwellwell@joy.org.au
