Dennis Altman – Community Living Legend

Dennis Altman is the writer and academic behind the ground-breaking book Homosexual: Oppression & Liberation during the gay liberation movement on the early 1970s. He has taken an active role in advancing the community response to HIV and AIDS and LGBTIQ+ human rights more broadly.

This episode is part of the Community Living Legends series, reflecting on community-driven action and looking to the future as Thorne Harbour Health celebrates its 40th Anniversary in 2023.
