Modern Love: The Lives of John and Sunday Reed

John and Sunday Reed left an indelible mark on Australia’s culture.  As founders of Heide, the Museum of Modern Art, which they gifted to the state of Victoria, their ability to discover, foster, collaborate and promote some of Australia’s greatest artists, was beyond compare.

Both from privileged backgrounds, theirs was a relationship that was as modern as the art they enjoyed from the artists they admired, creatively and intimately.

John and Sunday Reed’s love for each other endured to the end, superseding their passion for art and intimate entanglements with the artists themselves.
