Todays guest on Word for Word with host Lisa Daniel is Jude Munro. Jude Munro grew up in Melbourne – the daughter of Salvation Army parents. Her leadership skills were honed early and then developed through her university years and into her career which has spanned unions, Public Service, Public Policy and as CEO of various local governments in Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane. In 2010 she was made an Officer of the Order of Australia for her services to local government and Brisbane and was given the keys to the City of Brisbane for her service to the people of Brisbane. After a move into consultancy, Jude Munro has worked in crisis management, lead major reviews of local governments in NSW and Tasmania and has been Director of Uniting Care Queensland. She is currently Chair of the Victorian Pride Centre and joins Lisa Daniel in this episode of Word for Word.
