Namibia: Showing LGBT Relationships in a Positive Light

kapanaThe southern African nation of Namibia still has colonial-era sodomy laws in place for sex between men. There are no laws against sex between women. LGBT people do face discrimination in their daily lives but it is not as prevalent or as dangerous as some of their African neighbours. Philippe Talavera is the Director of the film Kapana. He is a Frenchman who now calls Namibia home. He joined us from London where Kapana was making its European premiere.
