New albums to look out for

Welcome to another hour of A Touch Of Pink, your show for tracks with a pop trash / remix flava and an emphasis on GLBTI content/artists.

This week’s show features 11 tracks (out of 14) with GLBTI content, including a new album from Kyle Bielfield, new tracks from Colton Ford, Tony Moran, Allan Jay and a remix from Basstoy (aka Mark Picchiotti).

Instead of a song of the week, I’d like to highlight two new albums from gay artists:

1. Manhattan from Kyle Bielfield. An interesting collection of covers (plus one original), with his wonderful (classically trained) voice makes this the perfect album for a romantic night at home.

2. Sinners Got Soul Too from Peyton. This is not his usual dance style, more of a laid back r&b album, but he also has a wonderful voice, and would make a sweet & soulful addition to any household.

What have we seen this week ?

FILM : Lady Bird : A wonderful coming of age movie about a girl growing up from high school to college, and moving from Sacramento to New York. It centres mostly around the family frictions, but also provides all the characters including friends and boyfriends with interesting backgrounds. A smallish indie movie but well worth considering. And yes, there is a gay in it, somewhere.
