After a quiet and reflectful Good Friday and an overindulgent Easter Sunday swamped with chocolate, we remember Belgians and their recent bombings, and recall that we Australians have quite a few connections with this small country. We chat about living in our big city with existing infrastructure, White Night and Earth Hour. We remember the Singing Nun and film actor Dirk Bogarde who practiced his art while keeping his sexuality hidden. Also, how the English seemed to cope with granting Knighthoods to gay fellows within the Arts, [including Bogarde, Bennett, Guinness and Gielgud].
We thank our favourite correspondents, including Nina, Peter and ‘317’ and mention our new ‘repeat’ broadcast time details and podcasts.
Plus some trivia and mirth …..
