Melbourne Pianist, Trumpeter, vocalist, composer, arranger and Band Leader Jack Earle remembers seeing the name of Sammy Nestico on the top of so many big band charts when he was in his first big band, and noted that every chart that had Sammy’s name sounded amazing – and was fun to play.

Jack also chats with David Moyle about the first gig with an audience for his Big Band in a looooong time – a gig at Fed Square as part of their celebration of Fed Square Summer, being an opportunity for the Jack Earle Big Band to get back on stage and perform in front of a live audience.
