– director Beng Oh talks about his latest show The Yellow Wave at the Butterfly Club, 17-29 Nov. China via Russia takes on Australia – a comedic presentation of a tale of love and war, prejudice and boat arrivals set against the invasion of Australia by a Russian led ‘Mongol horde’.

– Nath Valvo is about to take his show Grindr: a love story to London for two weeks. Rewritten since it was first staged a couple of years ago, it’s a one-night-only pre-London preview at Howler on Thursday 19 Nov.

– Simon Abrahams, Creative Director and CEO of Melbourne Fringe is talking shop. He’s participating in a panel discussion Game Changers about the future of festivals. (A Big West Festival free event but bookings essential.)

– Katie Lockett, artistic director, and Nicolette Forte, guest artist, at SPARC Theatre talk about Are You Lonesome Tonight a show developed out of SPARC’s visit to the Elvis Festival at Parkes, NSW. See it at the GH Hotel 20-22 Nov.
