David & Sue talk to Dan De Rochefort – President of GLOBE Melbourne talks about the Annual LGBTI Awards which are held in October each year, GLOBE speed networking which is held monthly and other events. This is the first of many monthly spots with Dan so that you can find out about all the upcoming GLOBE happenings so stay tuned for more and welcome to the Friday Drive team, Dan.

GLOBE is a non-profit organisation that provides LGBTI business, professional and community groups the opportunity to further develop their interests and network with like-minded individuals and groups. GLOBE welcomes members of the LGBTI community and their supporters to engage and develop their individual and group interests.

Dan became President of GLOBE in September 2017. Dan aims to ensure GLOBE Melbourne’s membership is more reflective of the LGBTI community and that the strong expertise of running an LGBTI organisation can be passed on to smaller LGBTI organisations through mentorship.
