This year, Thorne Harbour Health celebrates 40 years of supporting the health and wellbeing of our communities, with their Community Support Program providing practical support to people living with HIV. The program is now recruiting volunteers to drive clients to vital medical appointments. They also provide fortnightly deliveries of basic food items around Melbourne. So if you have a car and weekday availability, it’s a rewarding way that you can contribute to your community.
Joining Rach & Dean on JOY Breakfast is Thorne Harbour Health’s Volunteer coordinator Daniel Bryen, as we find out about the program and what you can do to help.
If you would like to volunteer for Thorne Harbour Healths Community Support Program providing practical support to people living with HIV you can find out mpre by contacting Thorne Harbour on 98630426 or send an email to support@thorneharbour.org.
