It’s a new year, but the pride doesn’t stop shining, even through the rain. And with Victoria’s Pride hosting a gaggle of regional events throughout Summer we thought it best to touch base with Cris Stevens-Todd from Shepparton and find out what’s happening in his region.

🎪 GV Pride’s ‘Pride Ball’ is back in February 2024, with a fabulous theme, ‘Under the big TOP’ – a vintage themed circus, exploring the historical notion that LGBTIQA+ belong in the circus; Freaks, whose only valid reason for existing is for the purpose of entertainment and amusement of others. We are taking back this notion and transforming it into an expressive and empowering celebration of our LGBTIQA+ community. |

Details | Join Helene at the Pridefinder Podcast Studio for a chat in Bendigo! The Pridefinder podcast studio on wheels is heading on its second tour around regional communities in Victoria to collect stories about the LGBTQIA+ experience.
Helene Thomas is an award-winning audio producer, advocate, and great ally for our community with a passion for collecting and sharing stories and she will be the captain of Pridefinder’s journey. She will collect stories focusing on the lives, history, and reflections of regional LGBTQIA+ people. If you’d like to share your experience, click ‘Going’ on this event to be notified when bookings are open. These recordings will be presented at Victoria’s Pride Street Party in Fitzroy on Sunday 11th February 2024. |
