Associate Professor Joel Anderson: Monogamy versus non-monogamy

For a long time, most of us have been told that sticking with one partner is the key to a happy, lasting relationship. But what if that is not the whole truth?

A major new study led by La Trobe University has shaken up one of the most significant assumptions about love and relationships, finding that people in non-monogamous relationships are just as happy, satisfied and fulfilled as those in monogamous ones.

So what does this mean for how we think about love, trust, intimacy… and maybe even ourselves?

Guest: Associate Professor Joel Anderson, a Principal Research Fellow at the Australian Research Centre in Sexuality, Health and Society at La Trobe University

Presenter: Warren Andrew
