Shape (MQFF): Our obsession with the ‘ideal body’

‘Shape’ is screening as part of the Melbourne Queer Film Festival.  It examines how social media, gay targeted advertising, gay networking/hook-up apps such as Grindr and the gay clubbing scene can foster an obsession with the “ideal body”.

Glen Hosking – Associate Professor and Clinical Psychologist in the Department of Psychology, Counselling and Therapies in the School of Psychology and Public Health, joins Warren Andrew in the studio for a chat about the documentary.
