The Optus network has been hit with a ‘deep network problem’, causing outages across the nation and impacting critical services such as hospitals.
Senior Lecturer in Media from Swinburne University, Dr Belinda Barnet says, “last year millions of customers had their data compromised with Optus and now there’s an outage impacting millions again, including health systems,” she said.
“This is the best advertisement for Telstra that Telstra didn’t actually ask for.”
