Why do we keep re-watching nostalgic TV series?

How often do you sit down and re-watch one of your favourite tv series? There’s something about the feeling we get when we revisit a show that gave us so much pleasure during a different time in our lives.

How do you go about choosing which TV series to rewatch and does your mood influence your choice? What is it about nostalgia that keeps us returning to our favourite series?

Guest: Anjum Naweed is Professor of Human Factors at CQ University.

Presenter: Warren Andrew
