Vincent Ho: Gluten and the Nocebo Effect

You have probably heard someone say they are gluten intolerant, and maybe you have even cut out gluten yourself in hopes of fixing gut issues.

But a new Australian-led study is casting doubt on gluten as the real culprit behind those tummy troubles in people without coeliac disease. It turns out that even when gluten was not in the food, people still had the same symptoms, which might come down to the Nocebo Effect.
