In the JOY studios Thursday morning Sonja spoke to two women who are making a big difference to the lives of homeless women and transgender men in and around Melbourne and Victoria with free sanitary products. Sonja is joined by Donna Stolzenberg and Natalie Cruz from the Melbourne Period Project as they talk about what the Melbourne Period Project is, who is it for, how long have they been going, why not Deva cups, how many people need their help, what can people do and how to donate and support the Project.
The Melbourne Period Project are supporting women and transgender men experiencing homelessness in Melbourne and surrounds by providing sanitary products, help and support.
