Swedish singer-songwriter of Swedish, Greek and Guadeloupe origins (yes, that’s what his press release actually says) Kim Cesarion has hit the ground running with his worldwide debut release, Undressed, reaching #9 on the Aussie charts this week.
Wisin & Yandel featured on JOY last year when they teamed up with Jennifer Lopez for Follow the Leader. Originally released as Wisin featuring Ricky Martin and Jennifer Lopez, Adrenalina is a Spanglish-laced Latino triple threat that has been rebranded for Ricky Martin following the surprise smash success in 2013 in Australia and on the US club charts with “Come On”.
Popular US DJ-turned-producer DJ Cassidy has recruited some big guns, with both Robin Thicke and Jessie J on duty for his debut release. Calling All Hearts is pure disco and possibly the most fun you can have with your clothes on this year.
Australian X Factor 2013 alumnus Nathaniel Willemse’s 2013 release You was a top 5 hit and sold 2x platinum. His follow-up, You’re Beautiful, has the same formula and should do just as well.
UK songstress Katy B has been around for a few years but it seems she is that special little secret for those in the know, here in Australia. Her second full-length album, Little Red, has just topped the UK charts and Crying for No Reason is comfortably in the top 5. Katy will be hoping to see this finally translate into some chart success here. We’re pleased to help out.
