Out-and-proud Australian drag performer and recent RuPaul’s Drag Race runner-up Courtney Act kicks off our new music this week. Ugly is lifted from her latest EP, Kaleidoscope.
Iconic British group Duran Duran have been making music since 1978. For their fourteenth studio album they have recruited man-of-the-moment producer Mark Ronson as well as legendary Chic musician-producer Nile Rodgers. There are some interesting vocalists helping out, including Kiesza, Lindsay Lohan, Mr Hudson and John Frusciante. The lead single, ‘Pressure Off’, features American R&B singer-songwriter Janelle Monáe.
Out-and-proud Olly Alexander is the lead singer for British trio Years & Years. The new single, Shine, is another great effort and should mirror the success of their debut, ‘Kings’.
