Kicking off our new music this week is British four-piece group Clean Bandit. They released their debut album, New Eyes, in 2014, and in 2015 their Grammy-winning single, ‘Rather Be’, brought them worldwide acclaim. ‘Tears’. with lead vocals by the winner of Britain’s 2015 X Factor, Louisa Johnson, is the first new material from a new album.
Dagny is a London-based, Norwegian-born, singer-songwriter and her debut worldwide single, Backseat, is set to blow you away.
American singer-songwriter-actress Ariana Grande just keeps on getting better, and the second single, Into You, from her third studio album, Dangerous Woman, is already making it’s mark on the Australian charts.
New Zealand brother-sister duo Broods need a top 10 hit to cement them in the Australian psyche following their top 30 hit earlier this year, ‘Free’. We think Couldn’t Believe has every chance of getting them across the line.
Stockholm-based female singer-songwriter LÉON scored a #1 on the Hype Machine recently with Tired of Talking. It’s her first release in Australia, and it’s definitely worth a listen.
Melbourne-based duo Client Liaison have been around for a little while with their interesting take on disco-funk. We think their latest release, World of Our Love, is a great way for them to hit the JOY weekday playlist for the first time.
Set your alarm and tune into Michael on the Six at Six for the newest songs to the mix, every weekday at 6am Melbourne time.
