It’s time to peel yourself away from your phone display and enjoy the newest from Dutch DJ-producer Armin van Buuren. He features Garibay in ‘Phone Down’, a song about not being able to let someone go. With a simple hook and chorus leading to a surprisingly low-key bridge, this brings a poppier feel to Armin’s work. You won’t want to put your radio down when it’s playing.
It’s time to dust off your Pokédex and get training with the imminent release of the live-action motion picture Pokémon: Detective Pikachu. Kygo and Rita Ora have been caught in the excitement, releasing ‘Carry On’ from the movie’s soundtrack. This one is everything you’d want from a Kygo track with some of the best Poké stats going around:

Gold Coast DJ-producer Brooklyn has been working the clubs, to the delight of her many fans. She’s recently been working with Melbourne-based singer Rachel Costanzo to produce ‘Better Before’, a track that takes your house feels to another level. It’s made for jamming to at home while you get ready to head out to the club, and then dancing to when you’re there.
Michel Young was once on Swedish Idol, but ended up being sent home after forgetting his lyrics during a group song. Thankfully that didn’t deter the singer and he’s been pumping out the hits, which are slowly becoming staples on European radio. The newest is ‘Human’, and it’s pop perfection. We’ve been loving Michel’s work and hopefully the rest of Australia will come to love him too.
