A couple of musical nuggets have been uncovered for your listening pleasure this week.
After Zedd stood up for two gay fans who got engaged at his concert, the DJ-producer has continued seeing the positives in the world with his new release. ‘Good Thing’ sees the Grammy Award winner lay his beats alongside the R&B vocals of pansexual singer Kehlani. This one’s smooth, sultry and just right for the mix.
Everyone is still loving John Newman‘s big single Without You, but we reckon it’s the next single from the English singer that’s made for your workday. The title track from his new EP, ‘A.N.i.M.A.L’, combines synthy strings, clapping and a chorus that was designed for screeching along to in the car. You’ll be roaring your approval after getting this in your ears.
We’re ahead of the pack with something that’s not even released in Australia yet. Swedish singer Michel Young is back with a song that combines the best bits of three decades of music in 70s80s90s. This lad has the backing of the brains behind the success of fellow Swede September, and the sooner we hear him all over Aussie radio, the better!
