Melbourne lad Adrian Cardamone adds another gem to the music mix, with an apology for those late-night booty calls. ‘Wasted’ sees Carda team up with Nashville-based singer-songwriter Emily Falvey to combine the regret of a country song with the beat of high-quality EDM-pop. We think you’ll be singing along.

Eurovision: Australia Decides is not far away. This year, Indigenous singer Mitch Tambo will take the stage to present ‘Together’, sung in English and Gamilaraay. The Melbourne-based artist aims to bring people from all walks of life, cultures and creeds together with a message of love, and this song delivers it in spades. Watch him perform it live on SBS on 8 February.

Old mate TayTay is soon to be the star of a new Netflix doco called Miss Americana. Just before it appears on your device of choice, she’s dropped the fourth single from her latest album, Lover. Already charting in the top 20 in Australia, ‘The Man’ sees Taylor Swift highlighting the challenges women face in society. It’s a bop with a message.

Sorry was a major hit for English DJ-producer Joel Corry last year, and he’s followed it up with another banger. Lonely maintains the two-syllable-title winning formula, and has a drop that will have you wishing you had someone to experience it with. Actually, this would be the perfect soundtrack when Joel’s demanding that you lift 100kg weights in a gym full of people who look like they belong on Geordie Shore. Bring it.

In 2016, Sandro Cavazza shared some of his music with Avicii while they were touring the US together. The late producer did not complete ‘Forever Yours’ before his death in 2018, but he did play a demo of the unfinished product during his set at Ultra in Miami that year. Sandro worked with Norwegian DJ Kygo to finish the track and performed it at the Avicii Tribute Concert last year. It’s now an official single, with all profits going to the Tim Bergling Foundation. It’s exactly what you’d expect from an Avicii and Sandro Cavazza collab, and we think you’ll enjoy it.

After fifteen years of checking out a mate’s girlfriend on the Tube, James Blunt decided to ask her if she wanted to take a spin in his fast car. She did, and ‘5 Miles’ was born. Honestly describing it as a ‘shallow song’, the English singer-songwriter delivers some bouncy pop in the latest single from his seventh studio album, Once Upon a Mind. It’s certainly one to have up loud while you’re driving home!
