Get your ears around this brand-new music while you work.

Ahead of her Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Party performance later this month, Dua Lipa has gifted us a vision of colour and 80s love in her new single. With a driving beat made for a mid-morning TV aerobics show, ‘Physical’ gives us a further peek into the Brit’s forthcoming second album, Future Nostalgia. We’re living for the 80s-disco crossover and we think you will be too.

The Gold Coast hosts Eurovision: Australia Decides this weekend, which will give us our Eurovision entry for the year. Sydney-based singer-songwriter Montaigne is in the running for a ticket to Rotterdam with her goth-pop track ‘Don’t Break Me’, co-written with Aussie powerhouse duo DNA. The bisexual performer is pulling out all stops (and a Pokemon-inspired look) for a big performance, which this song deserves. Catch the show on SBS on Saturday 8 February from 8:30pm AEDT.

Gay DJ-producer Division 4 is no stranger to Melbourne’s most uplifting music mix. While usually on remixing duties, he sometimes has the chance to release music of his own. ‘Heard It All Before’ is the latest from the Aussie who began his career in London, and it brings a touch of uplifting house to the mix. We think you’ll be wanting to hear it over again!

Tilsen might be new to Australians, but she’s no newbie in her home country of Canada. The Toronto native found great success with her debut single, ‘Hurts’, last year, and this daughter of an opera singer is hoping for the same with her newest. ‘Doubt’ brings some singalong pop to your ears and is perfect for our uplifting music mix.

Castles was a slow burn for British singer-songwriter Freya Ridings, eventually achieving platinum certification in Australia months after its release. We’re treated to a follow-up from her self-titled debut album, but it’s not actually new at all. ‘Lost Without You’ was initially released in 2017 and found success on the UK chart in 2018. It’s just hitting Aussie shores now, and we’ve taken the radio mix, produced by Kia Love and Vertue. We think you’ll be loving it as much as you loved ‘Castles’.
