Riots in London have pulled UK Prime Minster David Cameron from his holidays and he has deployed 16,000 police to help stop the mindless destruction and looting throughout the city. We cross to our UK correspondent Dan Vo, for the latest in London. The new EO of the Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations is Rob Lake and he joins us to discuss the signing of a UN Declaration by our Federal Government, which aims to reduce by 50%, new HIV infections by 2015. Multi award winning playwright Lachlan Philpott discusses his recent nomination for a Helpmann Award. ‘Silent Disco’ is his new play currently on at the Arts Centre. This weekend marks 7 years since the Howard Government defined marriage between a man and a woman so the Equal Love Rally on Saturday 13th August, is sure to be a big one. Tracy Bartram will host the Rally and she joins us to discuss her thoughts on equality. And Vascoe pops his head in briefly for a chat about a celebrity with weight issues.
