This week on Out Takes we don our ruby slippers and look at some of the most memorable costumes in Cinema history – from lavish period costumes to suave suits and trend setting dresses.
To help us with this many-coloured and sequined retrospective, we’re joined by Marion Boyce, the costume designer behind one of Australia’s highest grossing films ‘THE DRESSMAKER’.
We chat about her creations in the farcical masterpiece, which can be seen up close at Rippon Lea House until the end of July. Marion also helps us with the Out Takes Awards for Best Costume Design, where we recognise some of our all time favourite badass, period and queer costumes.
We also speak with Jakob Quilligan, Publicity Manager for the Bendigo Queer Film Festival, who talks to us about some of this year’s festival highlights.
