For this program, we took a look at this years St Kilda Film Festival. It’s the longest running short form film festival in Australia and an excellent hub of content for film lovers and makers in Victoria. It also includes an eclectic line up of short form queer fare. We spoke with Richard Sowada, the director of the Festival, and Shaun Miller, who is moderating a number of film maker development Q&A panels as part if the program. We also revisited our interview from 2021 with film maker Cloudy Rhodes who’s film ‘Beautiful They’ is featured in the ‘Pride without Prejudice: LGBTQIA+ Showcase‘ at this years St Kilda Film Festival.
