Resolutions worth making and keeping!

Animals, Community, Pets, Society & Culture

Pure gratitude is the look your dog gives you after a long walk or the delighted purr of your cat while you scratch their favourite spot. Here at the Home we also see gratitude in the excited barks and playful pawing just moments before their lives are changed forever by adoption.

As owners, we can repay that unconditional gratitude by keeping our pets safe, giving them shelter, regular veterinary care, providing them the adequate food and exercise and of course, plenty of love.

Improving the welfare of animals on a broader level is also in our hands and can be achieved by committing to a greater good through adopting or fostering a shelter cat or dog.

As many of us reach for pen and paper to jot down our personal resolutions this year, the Pets-A-Loud team this week ask you to consider new habits your could make to make 2014 better for your pets.
