In news this week, data from the 2021 Census has revealed that 24,000 gay marriages have taken place in Australia since it was legalised, and two LGBTIQA+ politicians have made history in Victoria after being sworn into the Government’s ministerial cabinet.

In sport this week, Touch Football Australia committed to LGBTIQA+ inclusivity, the German Football Association supports the rights of all to play football, Ballon D’Or winner Megan Rapinoe 100% supportive of trans inclusion, and Leinster Rugby scrum-half Nick McCarthy comes out as gay.
