- Senator Cory Bernardi has defended the widely criticized anti-marriage equality ad.
- Former Prime Minister, Tony Abbott, is continuing his hard line approach against marriage equality.
- There have been over 98,000 new people added to the electoral role since the marriage equality postal survey was announced.
In Sport;
- Danish soccer players have united for a campaign to fight homophobia in soccer.
- Tottenham Hotspur Footbal Club are said to sign a soccer player who used a gay slur against his boss.
- British Olympic Hurdler, Colin Jackson, has come out as gay.
