Macca almost ventured into another meltdown on today’s show as we discussed the habit of politicians dipping their sticky fingers into the State purse. The potential of a foreign owned Qantas was also on the agenda, as was the passing of Nelson Mandela, and domestic violence in the context of drug use after Nigella Lawson’s very public confession.

Also, Ben Rylan gave us a glimpse at HBO’s new gay-centric series Looking (watch the trailer below), while GetUp!‘s Erin McCallum got on the phone to tell us why the campaign to keep the ABC in public hands is one of their most important. And Pete Dillon joins the panel in the second hour for a discussion on a new documentary, Our Little Secret, delving into the sad and often hidden world of child sexual abuse.
