Melbourne’s most iconic annual Vintage Clothing Sale is coming back for the 14 th year.

Held at the
Abbotsford Convent to accommodate the ever-growing fan base that continues to attend the sale,
2024 is shaping up to be the National Trust of Australia’s (Victoria) biggest yet!
Running from 16 to 17 March, the Trust is excited to invite fashion lovers, vintage collectors and
sustainability advocates to dive into rack upon rack of pre-loved clothing, high-end designer
garments and unique accessories across all styles and eras.
This year’s sale is set to feature a wide and wonderful range of designer items from Yves Saint
Laurent and Gucci shoes, Max Mara and Valentino blouses, and pieces from Giorgio Armani,
Burberry, Carla Zampatti, Prue Acton and many more.
Curators and founders of the Vintage Clothing Sale Elizabeth Howcroft, Deborah Bannister and Betty
Spangaro are thrilled to invite everyone to get involved in the sale, in support of sustainable fashion
practices that contribute to the circular economy.
"Visitors can discover everything from elegant evening wear and charming day dresses to statement
pieces and everyday finds at the sale," said Howcroft.
“The Vintage Clothing Sale is the perfect place to give pre-loved pieces a second life, and with pieces
from designers and classic wardrobe staples, it’s the perfect place to refresh your wardrobe,” said
Howcroft.
The Vintage Clothing Sale has also received impressive donations of timeless curiosities, each telling
a special story. The donations to this year’s sale include a plentiful stock of haberdashery, linen,
vintage jewellery and unique collectables.
