Royal Commission into Mental Health Care report

Director Health Program, @StephenJDuckett, talks about the aged care Royal Commission report which uncovered the disgrace of mental health care in Australia. It did a good thing. It points the right way, it lifted the lid – it surveyed the public who said 1% levy. This is just enough. The public is on board but the Federal Government is out of touch. What would Stephen would like to see? Put the older people first. Second is to expand home care. Third is fix residential aged care with increased staffing. Finally. culture change in system so starving residents is not an option.
