LISTEN TO PODCAST NOW

We catch up with James Andre for Milk Shadow Books publishers regarding what is on the agenda for him and comic stable of artists, we also chat to Tim Molloy, artist of his Silent Comics and new publication: ‘It Shines and Shakes and Laughs’, an anthology of his work since 2007 !! Mitch my co-host and I ask “what is it that makes Melbourne the cult comic capital?”
We also played an interview with fellow comic artist, writer and editor : Jason Franks, he chatted about his comic character creations ‘Mc Black’ and ‘The Sixsmiths’.

And Emma from Joy’s youth flagship show : ‘Generation Next’ appeared behind the microphone to review the controversial possession movie: ‘The Devil Inside’ !
I talked quickly about the “30 levels of Mayhem” martial Arts genre flick: ‘The Raid’ which is wowing cinema audiences everywhere with it’s full throttle violence !!
Finally, Emma and I discussed the apparent deficits in the enormous movie of the moment: ‘The Hunger Games’ , and how Gary Ross’s vision has departed and left out so many intrinsic factors from the popular YA Suzanne Collins books…what the hell happened to Buttercup !!?

It’s all genre goodness….so listen in !!
