The marriage equality plebiscite is dead

On tonight’s edition of The Informer we looked at a post-plebiscite reality, and what that means for LGBTI Australians.

We spoke with Get Up’s Marriage Equality campaigns director Sally Rugg about the possibility of a free vote in parliament before the next election.

We also spoke with Nathan Despott from the Brave Network about Senator Eric Abetz’s recent comments about the need to celebrate gay people that have ‘switched’ to heterosexuality. Brave will be hosting the founder of the Gay Christian Network (GCN) Justin Lee later this month.  Check out: JLMel.in for more info.
